About us

I began my career with London Life in 1992 as a sales representative in Guelph. In 2000, I relocated to Kincardine with my wife and our daughter and incorporated as Harvey Financial Solutions Inc. In 2022, I celebrated 30 years in this business.

My passion involves helping families build their financial security and helping provide protection in the event of death, disability and retirement. I am a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Life Underwriter. I am a long-standing member of Advocis, the Association for Financial Planners in Canada, and continue to take professional development courses.

During my time away from work, I enjoy sailing, acting with the Kincardine Theatre Guild and spending time with friends and family. One of five children, I was raised in Hamilton, Ontario – a big reason for my love of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. I am a graduate of the University of Guelph.

I began my career with London Life in 2004, and before that, I enjoyed working at HEPCOE Credit Union and the former National Trust Company. In all, I have 33 years of financial experience.

During my time away from work, I enjoy being physically active, walking our dog, and spending time with family and friends.

The youngest of eight children, I was raised on a dairy farm near Owen Sound, Ontario. I am a graduate of the University of Guelph and I enjoy giving back to my community. Having been a 4-H Leader in the past, I currently volunteer at P.R.A.N.C.E. I am happily married with two grown daughters.
